Where Are Good Hip Hop Fashion Stores in New York City?
Q. I am going on vacation to NYC next week and am looking for good hip hop fashion stores. I'm staying in Times Square and am looking for stores that carry brands such as Bape, Ice Cream, etc.

A. I believe there is a BAPE Store in NYC. I'm not sure where exactly. Look on the BAPE website and they will tell you. Theres a Dr.Jays on 34th (one train ride away from Times Square) Thats a well know hip hop fashion store. Also you can try Macy's. They sell hip hop stuff too. That's also on 34th. You can walk there if you like. I'm sure you'll pass by some stores on the way there.

How do I become a fashion stylist working for hip hop artist?
Q. I want to become a fashion stylist for Hip Hop artist (i.e. Plies). I want to know how do I get on this career path. I will be going to LIM Majoring in Fashion Merchandising and Minoring in Fashion Stylist. Can someone please tell me how do I become a Fashion Stylist for in the Hip Hop world?

Why do my parents think hip-hop fashion is bad and that only bad people wear them?
Q. First off, I'm asian and I'm ashamed to have such stereotypical parents. Are all asian parents like this? Please don't call them smart, they are dumb! They hate hip-hop fashion and whenever they see a person wearing baggy jeans and a crooked cap (the whole hip-hop look) they think they are bad!!! I swear, my parents need education. How do you judge a person if they are bad or not by the way they dress? You can go outside and find a person with a black suit and dress sues on and I bet you - He might not be a nice person. So why is it that my parents think whenver they see a person dressing in a hip-hop fashion, they think he or she is bad or criminal minded? I just don't understand. White, Black, or Hispanic parents aren't like this.

A. I doubt it has anything to do with the fact that you have asian parents. Other parents of different races are like this too. It is probably because this it is truth without sterotypes most people that wear hip hop clothing are african american. Now there is this huge generalization that all african americans are criminals.
