Which is better collegiate or professional?

A. If you ask me in terms of running, I would definitely say professional. In that same line, I would suggest reading the book "Sub 4:00: Alan Webb and the Quest for the Fastest Mile." The book does a very good job, I thought, explaning the collegiate system, and its drawback, and makes a comparison at the end with the professional racing and training. You can find the book at your public library, beside it's a good book to read.

Does anyone here actually talk about real wrestling?
Q. I mean all anyone ever talks about is professional (fake) wrestling. What about collegiate and high school.

A. There are some people that talk about it. However, Professional Wrestling takes over this section more than Amateur Wrestling. I have tried to talk about it in a few questions, but not many people answer, and some Professional Wrestling fans give idiotic answers for an easy two points.. If you have a question or something, you might as well ask it and see what answers you get.

Physical Therapists, could use some shin splint help.?
Q. Well, about 4 months ago I got them. Shin splints. So I came here doing my research and have done everything possible that people have told me. I took 2 months off. Iced them, rested, more ice, stretching, you name it. So I came back. Softer surface, started out with one lap and worked my way back to 1.5 miles and bam. There back. So, I went to professional running store with Collegiate runners. He said that my shoes were fine, no overpronation. He gave me a more stable insole. He actually said that I had one of the best forms hes seen in awhile. Also told me to try running barefoot a couple of times a week as this will help strengthen the ankle naturally. I ran once and wow. I ran three miles great. But, again, tried to get… [cont.]

A. Well I'm not a physical therapist but I've had bad shin splints for a long time, I did the same thing you did, I iced and switched to softer surface nothing changed(well I have overpronation which causes them for me but you don't have to worry about that) you get shin splints mainly due to the specific muscle(depending on where your shin splints are) is very weak and needs to be strengthened. I don't know where your shin splitns are so I can't tell you what specific exercises you can do to strengthen them, i'd suggest you look on internet for exercises(for that particular area)
